Frances Hanna Lewis, 86, a native of Maurepas and resident of Thibodaux, passed 
away Friday, July 17, 2015.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Thibodaux Funeral 
Home. 
Visitation continuing at Christ the Redeemer Church on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 
from 8:30AM until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 
10:30AM at the church. 

Burial will be at the Maurepas Cemetery in Maurepas, Louisiana following mass.

Frances is survived by her husband of 67 years, Lawrence Lee Lewis; daughters, 
Corlis Ann Marroy, married to Richard Marroy, Phyllis Morvant, married to 
Wilbert Morvant, & Karen Braud, married to Adley Braud. Her surviving 
grandchildren are Kim Guidry, Scott Lewis, Colby Brignac, Brad Marroy, Randy 
Marroy, & Brittany Wils; with great grandchildren being Erica Pierce, Alexandra 
Lewis, Nicholas Lewis, Rhian Lewis, Daniel Lewis, Hanna Brignac, Maggie 
Brignac, Landon Brignac, Toby Marroy, Brendan Marroy, and Braylon Marroy. 
She is also survived by her sisters Betty Picou, Peggy Hanna, Belva Sellers.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Robert C. Hanna, and Rosa 
Picou Hanna; her brothers Robert Paul Hanna, Herbert Hanna, & Herman Lee Hanna; 
and her son Daniel Lewis.

Frances was an avid gardener, homemaker, & enjoyed spending time with her 
friends & family.
