Calvin Miller Sr., 63, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, 
died at 11:35 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, July 25, at Dularge 
Community Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, 

with burial in Southdown Cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Karen Williams Miller; sons, Calvin Amacker and 
Calvin Miller Jr. (Andrea Smith); daughters, Catrina (Gullian Austin), Lashawn 
(Justin Patterson), Crystal and Siedah Miller (Rontrell Robertson); brother, 
Freddie Miller III; sisters, Betty Bivens, Lois Simmons (Charles), Carolyn, 
Marian and Debra Miller (Bryan Ezell); uncle, Samuel Shephard (Charlotte); and 
nine grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie Sr. and Earlis Carter Miller; 
brothers, Freddie Jr., Edward Joe and Ernest Miller Sr.; and sister, Mary 
"Chubby" Miller. 

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
