Sherwin Joseph Neal Sr., 69, a native of Westwego and resident of Bourg, died 
at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday, July 6, at Chauvin 
Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at noon Monday at the funeral 
home, 

with burial in St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery. 

He is survived by his spouse, Kathleen Dupre Neal; sons, Sherwin Neal Jr., of 
Houma, James Neal and wife, Tanya, of Houma, Jesse Neal and wife, Lisa, of 
Kentucky, and Kent Neal, of Thibodaux; brothers, Terry Neal and wife, Marion, 
Carl Neal and wife, Mary Helen, and Edward Neal and wife, Lisa; seven 
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Evest Neal and Eugenia Naquin Babin; 
and brother, Errol Gene Neal. 

Sherwin was a member of Vision Christian Center. 
He was a member of the United Veterans League and served proudly in the U.S. 
Army. 

Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
