She was a native of Montegut, La and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 9:00 AM until funeral time at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Chauvin. She is survived by her son, Roger "Dale" Joseph Pellegrin and wife, Mickey; daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Adams Pellegrin; grandchildren, Mary P. Purviance and husband, Michael, Pernell J. Pellegrin and wife Tara, Michelle P. Lugo and husband, Larry, Tammy P. Duplantis and husband, Kent, Lori P. LeBouef, Raquel P. Sadler and husband, Kyle, and Brooks D. Pellegrin and wife, Jan; step grandchildren, Tiffany P. Seale and husband, Justin, Mindy P. Kreller and husband, Mike, and Jason Pitre and fiance’, Jesse Wilson; 21 great-grandchildren; 11 step great-grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; 2 step great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Warner Joseph Pellegrin; son, Ronald Joseph Pellegrin; father, Alexandre Joseph Robichaux; mother and stepfather, Aglae "Gladys" Marie Songe Robichaux Wallis and husband, Johnny Wallis; brothers, Earl, Sidney, Lester, Westner and Leland Robichaux; sisters, Hazel and Wilda Robichaux; stepbrothers, Clyde and Raymond Wallis; step sister, Gladys W. Seebode; grand daughter, Nicole M. Pellegrin; great grand daughter, Brittany N. Porche; great grandson, Jackson "Jackaroo" Sadler; grand daughter in law, Gina B. Pellegrin. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and American Legion Auxiliary. Wilma was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, ironing and spending time with the small children of the family. She was a vibrant caring strong willed persons that enjoyed life to the fullest. She was blessed to have had a strong clear mind until the time of her passing. Special thanks to Paula Duplantis and all caregivers for all of their love and support through her last few weeks, Dr. Jules Dupont for many years of dedication and service to our family, The Oaks of Houma and staff for the wonderful loving care received there, everyone at TGMC for all your hard work, Marguerite Pellegrin as her Eucharistic Minister, it meant a lot to her to have communion brought to her, all friends and family who visited and contributed to the wonderful life she lived, and Angela Portier for helping to send her home with her beautiful voice.
