Barbara Anne Rivet, 75, was born on May 2, 1940 and passed away on July 11, 
2015. 
She was a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Thibodaux Funeral Home 
from 9:00 AM until funeral time. Religious services will take place at 11:00 AM 

with burial to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Henry Rivet; her daughters, 
Gwendolyn R. Hebert and fiancé, Albert Lombus, Stephanie R. King and husband, 
Eric J. King, Charlotte R. Pellegrin and husband, Casey A. Pellegrin; 
grandchildren, Marcy H. LaBranche and husband Todd J. LaBranche, Brandon M. 
Guidry, and Anthony E. Hebert; great grandchildren, Layton M. Guidry and Landon 
M. Guidry, a long time best friend, Joanna LeBeouf and husband Hugh LeBeouf, 
and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Jennifer A. Rivet; parents, 
Leander and Virgie Himel Perk, and brother, Leander Perk, Jr.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family to help cover funeral 
expenses.

She enjoyed spending her time going to the casino, playing her games on the 
computer, and playing the crossword puzzles in the paper, as well as watching 
her shows on the TV.
She welcomed everyone into her home and loved throwing parties for every 
occasion at her home. She treated all she knew as family and will be greatly 
missed by all who knew her.
