Janet Adams Roussel, 73, born April 23, 1942 passed away on July 9, 2015. 

She was a resident of Thibodaux, LA, and a parishioner of St. John Catholic 
Church.

A visitation will be held from 8:00 am until funeral time on Saturday, July 11, 
2015 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of 
Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am 

with burial to take place in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Thibodaux, LA.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, C. A. Roussel, Jr. She is the 
mother of Brian Roussel and wife, Cindy; Brett Roussel and wife, Louise; Jan 
Hossel, Christine Zeringue and husband, David; and Melissa Roussel.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brandon Hossel and wife, Katie; 
Allen Roussel, Brittani Hossel, Megan Rivet and husband, Justin; Matthew 
Zeringue, and Taylor Roussel; sister Judy Leonard and husband, Davis; and 
sister-in-law Janice Adams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Freddie H. Adams and Mildred Baradell 
Adams; brother Freddie H. Adams, Jr.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gertie 
and C. A. Roussel, Sr.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She loved 
spending time with family and friends, and she loved to cook.
