She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma, LA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma, LA. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma, LA. She is survived by her, Son: Kendall Ruiz and wife Cynthia of Houma LA,and Brother: Royce Moore. She was preceded in death by her, Spouse: Burleigh Ruiz, Parents: Willie Moore and Stella Butcher Moore, Son: Stephen B. Ruiz, Brothers: Willie Moore Jr., Houston "Shine" Moore, Warren Moore,and Randolph Moore, Sisters: Rose Lyons, Josephine "Tippy" Trahan, and Audrey LeBlanc. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was an Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary CCD teacher and principal, Eucharistic Minister, Recipient of the Bishop Medal and served on the Pastoral Council. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and served on St. Vincent De Paul Board, Food Bank Treasurer, and Commissioner in charge for Public Election. Being a Parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary for many years, she felt it afforded her the rich experience of working with the Priest, Nuns, Lay Ministers and the entire Church Community; which she considered her second family. The family would like to thank the staff of The Oaks of Houma. ======================
