He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 9:00am to 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his, Spouse: Betty Sevin, Sons: Donald "Donnie" Elliott and wife Elizabeth, John "Johnnie" Elliott and wife Darlene, and Howard "Clayton" Elliott and wife Patti, Brothers: Andy Sevin and wife Roxanne, and Earl Sevin, Sisters: Emelda Sevin, Melba Fanguy and husband Donald, Mandy Gisclair and husband Tony, and Earline Matherne and late husband Louis, Grandchildren: Kyle Elliott, Chrissie Elliott, Tammy Elliott, Michelle Klingman, Orland Elliott, Great Grandchildren: Eli and Casey Elliott, William Anthony, and Tessa Elliot, Taylor Brunet, and Ashlynn Elliott. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his, Parents: Alvin Sevin and Lucille Gautreaux Sevin. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a tugboat captain for Cenac Towing Company for twenty years. He was a member of Woodman of the World. He was a master craftman of shrimp trawls and nets. He was a veteran of the United States Army. ======================
