Loretta Williams Toups, 80, a native and resident of Houma, died Wednesday, 
July 22, 2015. 

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today, Saturday, July 25, and from 9 a.m. until 
funeral time Sunday, June 26, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services 
will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 

with burial in Rogers Cemetery 

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Francis A. Toups Sr.; children, 
Evans "E.J." Toups Sr., Patricia "Pat" Toups, Roberta Connally and husband, 
Robert, Loretta Puckett and husband, James, Wanda Pitre and husband, Stevie, 
Gail Naquin and husband, Evans, Daniel "Danny" Toups, Mary Toups, Caroline Neal 
and husband, Arthur "Pon," Samantha Toups and Richard Toups and wife, Vera; 31 
grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sisters, 
Roberta Clark and husband, Doug, Mary Maynard and husband, Louis, and Lollie 
Ramond. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Sr. and Mary Williams; son, 
Francis A. "Buddy" Toups Jr.; daughter, Barbara Toups; brother, Robert "Bobby" 
Williams Jr.; and grandchild, C.D. Connally. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
