He was a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Monday, August 3, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Chauvin He is survived by his companion, Mazie Lapeyrouse Ogeron sons, Samuel (Sandra) White, Sr. and Jerome White (Beverly) daughter, Sandra Boudreaux brothers, Carroll (Yvonne) White, Sr. and Larry (Merline) White, Sr. sister, Mary (Wilbert) Thibodeaux grandchildren, Angel (Mark) Martin, Floyd (Jamie) Boudreaux, Jr., Ellie Boudreaux Gomez, Angie White, Samuel White, Jr., Samantha White (Joshua), Joshua (Emily) White, Rebecca (Eric) Martin step-children, Susan (Lawrence), Glenn (Charlene), Kenneth (Eve), Maria (Larry), Donna (Michael, Sr.), Patrick (Sally) and Barry (Rachelle) 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild eighteen step grandchildren twenty-nine step great-grandchildren one step great-great grandchild numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends He is preceded in death by his parents, Linton and Lillian White, Sr. wife, Nellie Pellegrin White one son at birth brother, Linton White, Jr sisters, Walterine Scott and Jeanette White He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin where he was a member of the Ward Seven Club and the Knights’s of Columbus. Mitchell Worked very hard and enjoyed his life to the fullest. He enjoyed music, cooking, baking and attending the Senior’s Council on Aging. He will be missed dearly.
