He was a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA. A visitation will take place at First Presbyterian Church of Thibodaux on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 8:30 AM until funeral time. Religious Services will be held at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Albert Tardo and husband Mike; son, Troy Albert and wife Joy; grandchildren, Josh Tardo and Riley Albert, and brothers, Gerald Albert and Lonnie Albert, Sr. He is preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Richard Albert; parents, Adley Albert, Sr. and Ethel Naquin Albert, and brother Daniel Albert. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Chester Boudreaux, the staff at Lafourche Home for the Aged and St. Joseph Hospice. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He later spent many seasons gardening with his brothers. He also loved to follow his local sport teams, the Saints, LSU, and especially the Thibodaux High Tigers. He was a devoted husband and father, and he took great pride in his two grandsons, Josh and Riley. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
