Andrew "Red" Authement Sr., 73, a native and resident of Grand Calliou, passed 
away Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Holy 
Family Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday 
at the church, 

with burial in Holy Family Catholic Church cemetery. 

He is survived by his daughter, Janice Robichaux and husband, Ricky; son, 
Andrew Authement Jr. and wife, Lynn; companion, Bernice Brown; sisters, Judy 
Labit and Helen Labit; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three 
stepchildren; and numerous other family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Authement; parents, Edward and Ruth 
Authement Sr.; brother, Edward Authement Jr.; two great-grandchildren; and one 
stepdaughter. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
