Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2015/f1508.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not grow weary, they shall walk, and not faint" Caroline Ann Daigle Babin; born November 28, 1947, native of Napoleonville, 20 year resident of Thibodaux and current 30 year resident of Baton Rouge; went to walk with her healing savior on August 8, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center while surrounded by her family. Caroline is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Daniel J. Babin, children; Tammy Babin Ordoyne, Jason Babin, and Kristen Babin Clark; grand children; Nathan, Nicholas, Tyler, and Kaitlyn Ordoyne, Jessica Booth, Bailey Babin, Daniel and Elysia Clark, and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; Lawrence and Helen Bourg Daigle, grandparents; John and Valerie Hebert Bourg, Herbert and Lydia Delaune Daigle and son-in-law, Curt Ordoyne. Caroline spent her young life traveling and living life to the fullest with her husband and children. She was a living testimony to her faith in the Lord as she overcame many trials. She never stopped believing that she would overcome her final challenge. After a long battle she has now earned her heavenly body with no more pain. She will be greatly missed by so many but her perseverant spirit will continue to live on through all whom she touched. The family would like to thank all of her caregivers with a special thanks to Kita and Shirley with Agape, Desiree with Acadian Ambulance, and Dr. Stacey Jones and staff. Visitation will be held at Landry’s Funeral Home in Thibodaux on Thursday, August 13 from 5-9pm, visitation will resume Friday at St. Joseph Cathedral in Thibodaux at 9am with Mass at 11am, Interment to immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux.
