He was a native of McComb, MS and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church and on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. until service time at First United Methodist Church. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of sixty two years, Virginia W. Bridges children, Michael (Nancy) Bridges and Kathy Bridges grandchildren, Ryan, Claire, Zane and Chloe daughter-in-law, Barbara brothers, Denman (Polly) Bridges and Ronnie (Nell) Bridges nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Franklin, Jr. and Marjorie Denman Bridges. Upon graduation from LSU in 1956 with a degree in petroleum engineering Frank went to work for Gulf Oil Corporation where he was employed until 1969. He then went into the petroleum consulting business, and in 1972 started Oilfield Consultants, Inc., which he operated in Houma, Louisiana until 2005. He was a registered professional engineer in Louisiana. He was a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and a member of the American Petroleum Institute (API). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in the honor of Frank Bridges to First United Methodist Church of Houma, Louisiana, or to Craig Hospital Foundation, 3425 S. Clarkson St., Englewood, CO 80113. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. ======================
