She was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Interment will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II. She is survived by her husband, Danny Chaisson; two sons, Chad Burton and wife Catina and Scott Burton; daughter Linda Coulon and husband Kevin. Janet had three grandsons; Jacob and Aaron Burton and Landry Paul Coulon. She is also survived by one sister, Suzanne Usey and husband Jimmie and two brothers; Ray Riche and wife “Tina” Cynthia; Derrill Rcihe and wife Brenda. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Dewey and Mercedes Riche Janet loved painting, yoga and flower gardening. She especially loved her orchids. She taught herself the art of cake decorating and making family birthday and wedding cakes. She loved to travel, especially to the Smoky Mountains. Janet was a devout Catholic and devoted parishioner of Maria Immacola Catholic Church. She was loved by everyone she met because of what she did, not just what she said. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends but never forgotten. ======================
