Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Luling, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Thursday with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Luling, LA. He is survived by his sisters, Pearl Laurent, Bessie Champagne; brothers, Johnny Sr., Jerry Sr., Horace, Jr., Charles Sr., Ronald, David Sr., Anthony Sr., Thomas and Wayne "Catfish" Champagne. Uncle "Champ" will also be missed by his nieces, nephews and cousins of a very large and close family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace Joseph Champagne Sr.; and brothers, Harold Sr. and Morris Champagne. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion Post 131 and VFW Post 3750. Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements. ======================
