Fellowship to celebrate Debbie's life will be 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at Vision Christian Center in Bourg. A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at the church. Debbie was married to Terry Dupre, of Houma, for 43 years. She was mother to Nicole Dupre-Landry and husband, Duane, Jennifer Lynn Dupre and Matthew Paul Dupre. She was also "Me-Me" to Brandon Dupre and Dylan and Luke Landry. She is survived by her mother, Rose Robichaux; brothers and sisters, Robert Roger Jr. and Lisa, Sherri Roger Armstrong and John, Tommy Roger and Amanda, Karen Roger and Tony Freeman, Rachel Roger Daigle and Philip, Colette Roger LeBlanc and Kenny, Michael Roger and Becky, Pam Ponville and Ted; mother-in- law, Elfie Babin Dupre; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Roger Sr.; and maternal grandparents. Debbie shared the Word of God by living her life as an extraordinary servant of Christ. Debbie was a stranger to no one. She was a humble servant of God to all she met. She embraced the gifts of joy, peace and compassion as she ministered to all. Debbie made it seem so effortless to lift up anyone in the mist of their struggles. Her laughter was so very infectious that if you were anywhere near her, you were going to join in. She was a 1972 Vandebilt Catholic High School graduate. Debbie worked 22 1/2 years for the Terrebonne Parish School Board. She was associate pastor at Vision Christian Center for the last 10 years. Prior to her associate pastorship, Debbie volunteered at Christian Community Fellowship focusing on Children's Ministry. Although Debbie's ministries were abundant, she truly loved working with children. Debbie was a loving daughter and sister, a devoted wife and mother, and an "awesome" Me-Me to her three precious grandsons. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, Dr. William St. Martin and the third floor and CCU staff at Terrebonne General Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to God's Heavenly Lunch Box at Vision Christian Center or Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements. ======================
