He was a native of Bayou Blue, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Monday, August 17, 2015 from 9:00am to service time at St. Lucy Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Lucy Catholic Church with burial in Bayou Black Cemetery. He is survived by his Spouse, Margaret Antill Dupre, Sons: Kurt Dupre and wife Darlene, Travis Dupre and wife Kingfa, Daughter: Tina Dupre Meaux and husband David, Sisters: Therese Dupre Marcel, Catherine Dupre Witherwax, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his, Parents: Wickles Louis Dupre Sr. and Margaret "Maggie" Dupre, Brothers: Louis Dupre, Daniel Dupre, Sister: Enola Dupre Ponville. He was a parishioner of St. Lucy Catholic Church. “Wick” proudly served his country as a Private 1st Class in the United States Army. He retired from Texaco Oil and Gas after many years of service. He was a member of the Texaco Credit Union of Houma and a member of the American Legion at Post 31. "Wick" loved to fish and going to the camp. The family would like to thank Dr. Russell Henry, Dr. Charlie Ledoux Jr., Dr. Naveed Khan and staff at Mary Bird Perkins, TGMC 3 North, Oncology Nurses and especially Eleanor and Ashley.
