She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur Monroe Howard; parents, Charles Ferdinand Pascher and Hattie Elizabeth Thigpen Pascher; and siblings, Elizabeth Keechel, Charles Pascher, Dorothy Turner, Alton Pascher and Norma Jean Reed. Anne was a Christian and member of First Baptist Church in Houma since she moved to Houma in 1949. She was an active member of her church, including working with four year olds in Sunday School for many years. She was also an active member of the A.W. Connely Chapter of The Order of Eastern Star for 50 years, serving as an officer for many of those years. She also served as a page in the international organization. She was mother advisor for the Rainbow Girls Houma Chapter numerous times. Anne enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking and baking. Her favorite hobby was gardening and she did it very well. She loved telling stories and laughing. She doted on her family and gave generously and from her heart. When a need arose, Anne was always genuinely willing to help. She provided selflessly for so many people over the years and never sought any recognition in return. She lived her life by the words of Jesus – loving the Lord God with all her heart, and her neighbor as herself. In doing so, she taught others by her example what a Christian life is supposed to be – a joyful and selfless reflection of Jesus. She was truly one of the sweetest, happiest, most loving people one could ever hope to meet. Her family knows she is at home in Heaven, worshipping at the feet of Jesus and enjoying the fellowship she is sharing with many loved ones who preceded her. We are comforted by the memories of wonderful times shared together until we are blessed by our reunion with her in Heaven. Anne's family would like to thank Dr. Russell Henry and his staff for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to the First Baptist Church of Houma Legacy Fund. Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements. ======================
