Valey Phillip Landry, 79, was born on August 4, 1936 and passed away on August 
10, 2015. 
He was a native of Vacherie and resident of Thibodaux, LA.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy B. Landry; two sons, Dale Landry and wife 
Elise, and Jules Landry; three daughters, Anne Ockmond and husband Lucien, 
Emelie Cortez and husband Mike, Delia Kraemer and husband Terry; two step-sons, 
John Duplass and Brandon Duplass and wife Melissa; one step-daughter, Kristi 
Duplass; one brother, Leo Landry; one sister, Una Rodrigue; eleven 
grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilson Landry, Sr. and Viola Legendre 
Landry; three brothers, Jaedee Landry, Wilson Landry, Jr., and Erie Landry, and 
one sister, Rena Rodrigue.

He was employed by Avondale Shipyard for forty-three years.
