She was a native of Pointe-Aux-Chenes, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 9:00 AM until funeral time at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 8594 Main Street in Houma. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Linard James Lyons and wife, Christine, and Claude "C.J." Lyons Jr. and wife, Harriet; daughter, Laura Lyons Fabre and husband, Artie; sister, Elta L. Henry; son-in-law, Richard "Dickie" Picou; grandchildren, Sheri Eaton and husband, Dwain, Teri Keller and husband, Ron, Tamara Melancon and husband, Ron, Jesse Lyons and wife, Sarah, Eric Lyons, Tina David and husband, Ryan, Amanda Lyons and fiance, Chris Plowman, Melanie Gaudet and husband, Chris; great-grandchildren, Tyler Eaton, Lauren Eaton, Kamryn Keller, Koen Melancon, Kaidyn Melancon, Emma Lyons, Abigail Lyons, Kyndal Bourg Lyons, Sylvie David, Nora Jane David, Ava Gaudet and Sophia Gaudet. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Claude Bruno Lyons, Sr.; parents, Albert Augustin LeBoeuf Sr. and Ada Marie Eve Hebert LeBoeuf; daughters, Mary Lyons and Rose Marie L. Picou; brothers, Albert LeBoeuf, Jr., and Harry LeBoeuf, Sr.; sisters, Amie L. Boquet, Lillian L. Dupre, Lucy L. LeBoeuf, Edna L. Dupre and Annie L. Benoit; and one infant grandchild. She was a life-long parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was also a life-long member of the Ladies Altar Society and the East Park Recreation Center Ladies Auxiliary. Elma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She was always there for her family. Her family loved her and enjoyed their time with her. She was full of life. She had a love for flowers, dancing and fishing. She will be missed dearly. The family would like to thank her great-niece Dr. Nicole McKee, the staff of CIS, and the staff of TGMC for their compassionate care for her. ======================
