Septime "T-June" J. Rodrigue Jr., 82, a native of Chackbay and longtime 
resident of Thibodaus was born March 3, 1933 and died Saturday morning, Aug. 
22, 2015. 

Visitation will be 5-9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Thibodaux Funeral Home and 
from 8 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor 
Catholic Church in Chackbay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. 
Wednesday at the church, 

with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery in Chackbay. 

He is survived by his only child, Douglas Rodrigue Sr.; grandchildren, Tonya 
Blanchard, Heidi Rodrigue and Dr. Douglas Rodrigue Jr.; and great-
grandchildren, Bailey Hyatt, Bradley Hyatt, Blakeley Hyatt and Thad Blanchard. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Guillot Rodrigue; parents, Septime 
Rodrigue Sr. and Victoria Mars Rodrigue; and brother Lauris "Beb" Rodrigue. 

Septime was a special services U.S. Army veteran and retired dragline operator 
for the DOTD. "T-June" was also a well-known guitar player for several local 
bands, including the Bayou Dixieland Band, The Durels and The Rhythm Kings. He 
is forever in our hearts. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
