He was 61, a native and resident of Thibodaux LA. Visiting at Williams & Southall Funeral Home, 1204 Cleveland St., Thibodaux, LA from 2:00pm to 4:00pm Friday, August 7, 2015. Visiting continues on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Funeral Home from 9:00am to Religious Services at 11:00am conducted by Rev. Lionel Griffin. Burial in Halfway Cemetery in Gray, LA. Survived by 4 daughters, Roxann Johnson (Gerald) of Napoleonville, LA, Elaine Smith, and Nina Johnson (Willie) of Thibodaux, LA, and Magnalana Dabney of Houma, LA; 4 sons, Derek Butler (Terilyn) of New Iberia, Clarence Butler (Gwen) of Napoleonville, LA, Gerald Smith of California, and Junius Deboue; 3 sisters, Geraldine Cooks (Wilbert), and Agnes Dumas (Norbert) of Thibodaux, LA, and Florence Smith of Belle Rose, LA; Also 19 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Spot; both parents, Rosalie and Junius Deboue; 1 daughter, Cynthia Smith; 1 sister, Eula Green; 1 brother, Raymond Deboue; 1 niece, Christine Spot; 1 nephew, Robin Cooks.
