Theresa "Bessie" Trosclair Voiron, 82, a native of Choupic and resident of 
Thibodaux, was born Jan. 17, 1933, and passed away Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, Aug. 22, at Christ 
the Redeemer Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon 
Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. 

The honor of being pallbearers will be given to: Allen Phelps, Jeffrey Richard, 
Shane Landry, Corey Phelps, Ryan Landry, Brad Landry, Chance Gros and Shelby 
Phelps. 

She is survived by her children, Fay Voiron Songy (Wayne), Gwendolyn Phelps 
Mendoza (Bobby), Cindy Voiron Hurtel (Melvin), Cathy Phelps LeBlanc (Bryan), 
Shelby "Allen" Phelps (Denise) and Debbie Voiron Gros (Chad); grandchildren, 
Christi Winkelmann, Jason Langley, Aimee Richard, Jeffrey Richard, Shane 
Landry, Ryan Landry, Brad Landry, Laci Naquin, Corey Phelps, Saydie Phelps, 
Shelby Phelps, Hollie Tabor, Claire Barrios, Danielle Hebert, Dru Burgo and 
Chance Gros; great-grandchildren, Alec, Isabella, Reagan, Jayden, Avery, 
Alexis, Dylan, Kali, Hayley, Addison, Lane, Kellan, Spencer, Kaden, Alli, 
Sydney, Ava, Cooper, Brady and Landen; sisters, Flora Gros, Voylie Pontiff, 
Doris Knight and Lois Walters; brother, Edward Trosclair; and numerous nieces 
and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene "Gene" Voiron Jr.; parents, 
Adam and Alfredia Gros Trosclair; sisters, Modest Gros, Vivian Leray and Mary 
Landry; and brother, Allen Trosclair. Theresa enjoyed spending time with her 
family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

She took great pride in raising her family. 

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be sadly missed 
by her family and friends. 

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Ellis and the entire 
staff at Thibodaux Cancer Center, especially, Darnell and Tammy. Thanks also 
goes to the E.R. staff at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, especially 
Darnell, Tamera and Michelle. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to the American 
Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association or any charity. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
