Geraldine Feucht Benoit, 82, a native of Mamou an resident of Schriever, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Thursday, Sept. 3, at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Schriever. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, 

with burial in St. Bridget Catholic Church cemetery in Schriever.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, James Reginald Benoit; wonderful children, Dale J. Benoit and wife, Cecile, Gary J. Benoit and wife, Jonni, Gina B. Boudreaux and Todd M. Benoit and friend, Peggy Trammell; sister, Joanne Shivers; brother, Wayne Feucht; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Llewellyn and Bessie Feucht; and brothers, Laurel Feucht and David Durocher.

Geraldine founded the Schriever Garden Club in 1976. She was member of the Houma Oil Wives and the Schriever Homemakers Club. 

She will be missed dearly by her husband, children, siblings and grandchildren. She was loved by many.
