Geneveive M. Breaux, 92, a native and resident of Gheens, passed away 
Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Friday, Sept. 25 at St. 
Anthony Catholic Church, Gheens. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 
at 11 a.m., 

with burial in Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport. 

She is survived by her son, Freddie Breaux Jr. and wife, Earline; daughter, 
Irma Matherne; brother, Jerry Matherne; five grandchildren, nine great-
grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Breaux Sr.; son, Gerald 
Breaux; son-in-law, Robert Matherne; parents, Mark Matherne Sr.; and Annie D. 
Matherne; and brothers, Mark and Vince Matherne. Falgout Funeral Homes is in 
charge of arrangements.
