Duane Allen Chiasson, 57, was born on August 28, 1958 and passed away on 
September 3, 2015. 
He was a native of Thibodaux and resident of Choctaw.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Choctaw 
Recreation Hall from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, 

followed by burial in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Cemetery on LA 1.

He is survived by his mother, Carol C. Boudreaux; sister, Wanda Tabor and 
husband Chris; nephew and godchild, Brandon Breaux and spouse Paige, nephew, 
Chet Tabor and spouse Stephanie, and godchild, Angela White and spouse Leo; 
niece Jan T. Helms and spouse T-Dale, and by a host of great nieces and great 
nephews.

He is preceded in death by his companion, Deanna “Dee” Cannon; father, Floyd 
Chiasson and stepfather, E.J. Boudreaux.

From the best chef who loved food, to the best fishing buddy who loved the 
outdoors, Duane was a lover of life and people! He cared and gave to all, never 
judging and always welcoming. Always honest, humble, loving, caring, Duane was 
one of God’s favorites! He was genuine with a heart of gold. Duane is greatly 
missed by his mother, sister, family, friends, and fishing buddies. He is 
forever in our hearts.
