Dugas, 79, a native and a resident of Pointe-Aux-Chenes, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 5, 2015. Visitation will be from 10am until 12pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The Rosary will be recited at 10:30am A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Burial following at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Houma, LA. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Willie Dugas; sons, Derrell Dugas Sr. and wife Jacqui, Keith Dugas and wife Laurie; daughter, Denise Dufrene and husband Joey; grandchildren, Derrell “Tony” Dugas Jr., Davy Dugas, Renee’ Fonseca and husband Daniel, Travis Dugas, Kyle Dugas and fiancé Alli Vauclin, and Jobie Dufrene; great-grandchildren, Breleigh Dugas, Jace Fonseca, and Alyssa Fonseca; sisters, Isabelle Robichaux and husband Rudy, Sally Naquin and husband Raymond; brother, Norman Rodrigue and wife Janice; sister-in-law, Elsie Rodrigue; brother-in-law, Sidney Dupre. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doris and Willis Rodrigue; sister, Helen Dupre; brothers, Allen Rodrigue, and Gary Rodrigue and wife Lena. Erlaine enjoyed cross stitching, gardening, bingo, bowling, and card games with her friends and family. She was a devoted Catholic and parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be missed dearly. The family would like to thank Dr. R.
