Garret B. Freeman, 72, a native and resident of Houma and Wharton, Texas, died 
Monday, Sept. 28, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, Oct.3, at St. Louis 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, 

with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery 1. 

He is survived by his wife, Harolyn Falcon Freeman; daughter, Jenika F. Rogers 
and husband, Clint Sr.; sons, Harold Michael Freeman and wife, Julie Lynn, and 
Jordan Christopher Freeman and wife, Brittni; sister, Evelyn Duet; brothers, 
Richard Freeman Jr.; Carrol Freeman and wife, Darlene; Eldon Freeman and wife, 
Edna; grandchildren, Austin Pellegrin, Clint Rogers Jr., Garret Samuel Rogers, 
Rylee Freeman, Mackenzie Freeman and Lacey Freeman; and numerous nieces, 
nephews and godchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Freeman Sr. and mother, Bessie 
Samine Freeman. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to the family or 
the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
