Beverly Diane Grant, 64, a native of Hydaburg, Alaska and resident of 
Thibodaux, born June 3, 1951, went to Heaven on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 after 
battling breast and bone cancer. 

Cremation has been performed as per Bev's request. 

A memorial reception for her family and friends will be held at a later date. 

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Bruce Lemoine; daughter, Pamela 
(Matthew) Helgesen; granddaughter, Sara Helgesen; siblings, Frederick (Irina) 
Grant II, Arlene (Darryl) Grant/Guthrie, David (Mary) Grant, Marcella (John) 
Scudero II, Frances (Mark) Hoyt; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Fredrick (Sarah) Grant; step-
grandmother, Katherine Grant; father, Fredrick Grant II, and mother, Helen 
Grant Leask; stepfather, Harvey Leask; daughter, Michelle Pearson; and nephew, 
John Scudero III. 

She had a smile as big as Alaska and always had kind words. 

We would like to thank Dr. James K. Ellis, Miss Stephanie and the rest of the 
staff with St. Joseph Hospice, LLC. Their help made Bev's journey through these 
trying times much easier.
