Errol A. Himel Sr., 71, a native and resident of Labadieville, LA passed away 
on September 7, 2015.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 6:00 PM till 9:00 PM at 
Landry’s Funeral Home in Labadieville and on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 
8:00 AM till funeral time at Landry’s Funeral Home in Labadieville. A Mass of 
Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM at St. Philomena Catholic Church. 

Interment will be in St. Philomena Cemetery.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Ethel Vedros Himel; children, 
Dana Himel (Perry), Tracy Himel, Stacey Barrileaux Borne (Mitch), Jennifer 
Himel, Erica Himel Stepleton (John), Errol Himel Jr., Adam Himel (Ashley), 
Michael Himel (Sasha); adopted nephews, Nolan Vedros Jr. (Barbara), Charlie 
Vedros Sr. (Donna), Paul Vedros (Connie); grandchildren, Bronson, Amber, Grace, 
Katie, Emily, Nathanial, and Emma Lou; 6 grand nieces and nephews, sister-in-
law, Mable V. LeBoeuf.

Preceded in death by his parents, Adam R. Himel and Gladys A Himel; brother-in-
law, Vergus LeBoeuf Jr. and Nolan Vedros Sr.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jimmy Ellis, the staff at Thibodaux Cancer 
Center, Haydel Memorial Hospice and especially his primary care nurse Mrs. 
Robyn for their care and support.

Landry’s Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
