Joseph Reado, 76, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 
22, 2015. 

Visitation will be 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, Sept. 26 at Third Zion 
Baptist Church of Raceland. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. at the church, 

burial in the church cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Verna M. Reado; daughter, Dr. Joanne Reado (Henry) 
Matthews; stepson, Lawrence Major Jr.; stepdaughter, Dana Major; brothers, 
Lloyd (Joyce) Reado, Norman (Denise) Reado; sister, Rutha Mae Jones; 
grandchildren, Jasmine Marie and Henry Joseph; and seven step-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Idella and Henry Reado Sr.; brother, 
Henry Reado Jr.; grandparents, Lily and Conley Triggs Jr. and Ben and Frances 
Reado. 

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
