Nartha Lynette Richard, 62, a native of Magnolia, MS and a resident of Chauvin 
passed away peacefully at 10:54 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2015.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. The funeral will be at 
11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Jones Funeral Home of Houma 
located at 6775 West Park Ave. in Houma, LA 70364. 

Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery located at 125 Civic Center Blvd in 
Houma, LA 70360.

She is survived by her mother, Ethel Ross Richard; her companion; August 
George; brothers, Louis and Johnell Richard; nieces, Kalisa Synigal, Charlotte 
Brown, Tasha Johnson, Katrina Porche, Centrell Porche and Karen Jackson; and 
nephew, Billy Porche, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Richard; sister, Delores Richard 
Porche; and nephew, Lentini Porche.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
