Irene Chiasson Stevens, 97, a native of Labadieville, LA and a resident of 
Thibodaux, LA, passed away on Thursday, September 03, 2015. 
She was born Feb. 23, 1918.

A visitation will be held in her honor at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral on Thursday, 
September 10, 2015 from 8:30AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM. 

The burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux.

She is survived by her son, Terry Stevens and wife Darlene; grand daughter, 
Candace S. Rivet and husband Joshua, and great grandchildren, Sydney and Hudson 
Rivet.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Merlin Stevens; parents, Luke and 
Cecile Bonvillain Chiasson; and brother, Norris Chiasson.
