Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2015/f1509.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Beverly Boquet Theriot, 83, passed away in the early morning Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015, while surrounded by family at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, Oct. 3, at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Houma. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery in Bourg. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Theriot Falgout and husband, Lionel, Joni Theriot Sullivant and husband, Pat, and Jill Theriot Dean and husband, Mike; brother, Leward Boquet; grandchildren, Lionel Falgout Jr., Gerald Falgout, Ryan Sullivant and Jessica Sullivant Hoffman; and great-grandchildren, Kayden, Riley, and Ryker Falgout and Anna Hoffman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Mae Boquet; husband, Jerry Theriot; and daughter, Jerri Ann Loupe. Beverly Theriot was born at home July 1, 1932, in Grand Bois, the only daughter of Cyril Boquet and Mae Hebert Boquet, and the younger sister of Leward Boquet. She graduated from St. Francis School in Houma and married Gerald "Jerry" Theriot. Together they had four children, Jennifer, Jerri Ann, Joni and Jill. She was a longtime resident of Bourg and a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. She owned and operated the Bourg florist shop Bev's Boquet for 19 years. After leaving the floral business, she practiced her love of flowers through gardening. She was beloved by her family who remembers her cooking weekend meals in the largest pots, and when dinner was over, clearing the table and leading everyone into a card game.
