Jacqueline Micheline Decayeux Zimmerman, 86, a native of Paris France and 
resident of Atlanta Georgia, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015. She was 
born November 14, 1928 and moved to the United States in 1959.

She was an active member in her community and attended OLA Catholic Church in 
Georgia. She lived in Louisiana for 30 years and loved spending time with her 
children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing bingo 
and going to the Casino.

She was preceded in death by her mother Therese Decayeux and two grandsons 
Jason and Joshua Hackney.

She is survived by two daughters Sharon Eckerle and husband Ronald of Hemphill, 
Texas; Renee Raines and husband Steve of Loranger, Louisiana; five sons Pat 
Zimmerman of Erie, Pennsylvania; Terry, David and Rick Zimmerman of Gretna, 
Louisiana; Ron Zimmerman and wife Robin of Atlanta, Georgia.

Other survivors include her grandchildren Jennifer Perry, Johnathan Perry and 
wife Krystle, Monyon Beckemeyer and husband Fred, Cassandra Eckerle, Danny 
Verdin; great grandchildren Taylor and Tessa Hackney, Josey and Emma 
Beckemeyer, Kolby Lewis, Paxton, Kynzie and Parker Perry; Amelia and Sophie 
Verdin.

She is also survived by a host of friends and family.

Visitation will be 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, September 26th at Falgout 
Funeral Home in Raceland, Louisiana. Religious services will be at 11:00 AM 

with burial to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Des Allemands, LA.
