Donald Lynn Bascle, 75, a resident of Houma, died peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 13, 
2015 at Chateau Terrebonne. 

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Living 
Word Church in Schriever. 

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Tharp Bascle; sons, Matthew Bascle and wife, 
Joni Brignac Bascle, Nicholas Bascle and wife, Sarah Smith Bascle, and Craig 
Burton; daughter, Melanie Burton; brothers, Gerald Bascle, Mike Bascle and 
wife, Cathy Bascle, and Floyd Joseph Bascle and wife, Melanee Bascle; sisters, 
Arlene Masterson, Mary Foucheux and husband, Mike Foucheux; grandchildren, Liam 
Bascle, Connor Bascle, Whitney Evans, Barry Maynard, Jack Burton, and Hannah 
Burton. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Bascle and Aline Lapeyrouse 
Bascle.
