Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2015/f1510.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Robert "Bobby" Bergeron, 77 died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015 at 2:30 a.m. He was a native of Boudreaux Canal and resident of Upper Little Caillou. Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 19, 2015 from 9 a.m. until funeral time at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Oct. 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will be held at St. Elie Cemetery in Chauvin. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Ann Naquin; son, Billy J. Bergeron and wife Nadjah; daugthers, Belinda L. Bergeron, Bridget B. Foret and husband, John, and Becky B. Hohensee and husband, Garrett; sisters, Nell B. Pellegrin and husband, Eugene "Skip," and Margaret B. Thibodeaux and husband, Elmore; grandchildren, Lance A. Lapeyrouse and wife Natalie, and Lee B. Lapeyrouse, Brooks M. Bergeron, Bobby J. and Baby Foret, Gabe J., Hayden J., and Jack D. Hohensee, and Isabella E. Bergeron; great-grandchildren, Jane and Grant Lapeyrouse. He was preceded in death by his son, Benjamin "Benjy" I. Bergeron and parents, Evans Joseph and Margaret Marie Blanchard Bergeron. He was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and served as a lector, commentator, and parish council member as president, vice president, and chaired many committees. He volunteered as a CCD youth speaker, and was especially active in Cursillos Movement as a leader/speaker from 1974-1978 which had a significant impact on his life. In addition, Bobby served as Ward 7 Commissioner for Recreation District Board as president, and a Lifetime Honorary Member of the Lions Club.
