Evelina "Nina" M. Crochet, 74, a native of Houma and resident of Cut Off passed 
away Oct. 24, 2015. 

Visitation will take place on Oct 28, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in 
Cut Off from 10:00 am till service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon 
with burial following in the Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Evelina is survived by her husband of 52 years Elmore "E.J." Crochet Jr., 
son Marty Crochet wife Alexis, grandchildren Jared Johnson, Jami Johnson Adams 
husband Lance, Cory Croy, Chelsey, Kristy, Alex, and Avery Crochet, 7 great 
grandchildren, and sisters Gloria Rhodes husband Ronald and Rose Lirette.

Mrs. Crochet was preceded in death by her children Carla Crochet and Scott 
Crochet, parents Salvadore Blanchard and Marie Blanchard Matherne, and brother 
in law Russell Lirette.

Mrs. Nina was a Tupperware salesperson for 25 years beginning in 1976 and her 
biggest accomplishment was her 52 years of marriage to Mr. Elmore.
