Donald Paul Duplantis, 75, passed away on Oct. 7, 2015 in Houston, Texas. 

Born in Houma on Apr. 10, 1940, he moved to Houston in 1969 after serving in 
the U.S. Navy. 

Don is survived by sisters, Joyce Matherne, Alice Elliot, Elaine Labit; 
brother, Wayne Duplantis and wife Gloria; sister-in-law, Cathy Duplantis; god-
children, Anne Thibodaux, Kevin Elliot, and Jessica Adams; close friend Kathy 
Walsh and her children Tom & Anne, and a host of family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Emery & Valerie Duplantis; sister, 
Harriet Pellegrin; brother, Emery Duplantis, Jr. 

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date as per his request.
