Larry J. Gros, 71, a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA passed away at his 
residence on Thursday, October 15, 2015.

He is survived by his wife, Myrna Legendre Gros; children, Elvin Gros, Jeffrey 
Gros and wife, Lisa, Kerry Gros and wife, Catherine, Laurie Gros Pierre; step-
children, Byron Trosclair and wife, Heather, Christine Holley and husband, 
Hank, Laurie Trosclair; sister, Geri Chiasson and husband, Jerry; 10 
grandchildren; Lauren, Katelyn, Kristina, Caroline, Logan, Whitney, Jean 
Claude, William, Julia, and Hans and 5 great-grandchildren, Lucas, Bryson, 
Audrey, Mila, and Ryder.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin P. Gros and Josephine B. Gros.

A visitation will be held in his honor on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at St. 
Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux from 8:00am until funeral time. A Mass of 
Christian Burial will be at 12:00pm 

with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Landry’s Funeral Home, Inc. will be in charge of arrangements.
