Horace J. Legendre, 73, was born on March 7, 1942 and passed away on October 
13, 2015. He was a native and resident of Chackbay, LA.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church from 8:30AM until funeral time. A Mass of Christian 
Burial will take place at 10:30AM with burial to follow in church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Marie A. Legendre; sons, Jerry Oubre, Jr., Lynn 
Legendre and wife Sherrie, Rodney Legendre and wife Tina; sister Bessie Perque; 
grandchildren, Megan L. Folse, Dallas Legendre and Richard Legendre and great-
grandchild, Mason Folse.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Edith Legendre; brother, 
Roland Joseph Legendre and grandchild, Haley Legendre.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
