Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2015/f1510.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Mary Nan McCutcheon Noblitt, a native of Jasper, Tennessee and resident of Houma, passed away at home Tuesday, October 13, 2015 surrounded by loved ones. Mary Nan was preceded in death by her father, Frank McCutcheon; mother, Martha Lois Johnson; daughters, Susan Jane and Rosemary Simpson; son, Robert Blanton Simpson, Jr.; aunts, Anita Love Dunwoody, Mary Septemma Mann and Ruth Dowell Braden; uncles, James Brock Havron and William Samuel Havron; grandson-in-law, Charles Dallas “C.D.” Connally and granddaughter, Mary Christina Love Willis Connally. She is survived by her daughter, Margie Ellen Willis and husband, Charles Gary Willis; granddaughter Wendy Alison Willis and husband Casey Adams of New Orleans, Louisiana; grandson, Michael Blanton Willis and wife, Sarah; grandson, Charles Gary Willis II; great-grandsons, Jackson Blanton Willis and Charlie Cloutier Willis; cousin Ben Braden and wife Wanda, of Jasper, Tennessee; cousin William Braden and wife, Ruth; and numerous cousins and friends. Born on August 8, 1928, Mary Nan spent many years in Jasper, Tennessee as a florist who owned The Little Flower Shop. She later traveled the world extensively, experiencing many cultures and making lifelong friends. She shared those experiences with her family throughout her life, and they are richer for it. Mary Nan (“Nana” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren) enjoyed being around her family. She was quick-witted and expressed deep interest in everyone's life. Nana and her brave heart will be deeply missed every day and especially at the many family gatherings and holidays to come. A private memorial will be held at a later date. ======================
