A native of Dallas, TX and a resident of Houma, LA died on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Terrebonne General Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at Community Funeral Home on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Visitation from 9:00a.m. until funeral time at 11:00a.m. Left to cherish his memories, his wife, Dinah Pilot. Three sons, Elzie (Carla)Pilot IV, Curtis Pilot both of Texas and Tyree' Pilot of Houma, LA. Three daughters, Cheryl Cooks of Dallas, TX, Joy Pilot of Houma, LA and Tiawan (Derrick) Jackson of Conyers, GA and one God-daughter, Kiawan Metoyer of Dallas, TX. One brother, Walter (Dorothy)Jackson, Jr. of Texas and three sisters, Cora (Terry) Polk, Barbara Faye Kennedy and Regina Austin all of Dallas, TX. 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elzie A. Pilot II and Effie Jackson and step-father, Walter Jackson, Sr. One sister, Sedalia Jackson Gray and brother Eddie Stewart. One grad-daughter, Chasity Pilot. He was a Baptist, a retired U. S. Air Force Veteran and from TPCG after 22 years. He enjoyed baseball, barbequing and he was a "true of da "Who Dat" nation!
