He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 9:00am to service time at St. Joseph Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Chauvin He is survived by his wife, Melissa "Missy" Pitre Price, his sons Kenny and wife Sarah, Joey and his companion Candice Chaisson, and Scotty and friend Jessica Fatchett, his parents George and Lua Rita Price, his brothers George "Butch", Jr. and wife Susan, Randy and wife Robbie, Ricky and sister-in-law Cissy, Scott and wife Tammy, and sister Becky Luneau and husband Gary, mother- in-law Patricia "Pat" Pitre, brother-in-law Milton "Petey" Pitre Jr. and wife Donna, sister-in-law Connie Chauvin and husband Andy, his three grandchildren, which he totally adored, Trent, Kara, and Kenna Price, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is preceeded in death by his father-in-law Milton "Pete" Pitre Sr., his grandparents Sheldon and Lucille Price and Clifford and Laurita "Toddy" Falgout. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was the best and greatest husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, brother-in-law, son-in-law, and friend you could ever ask for. Jody loved fishing, hunting, camping and shrimping. Anything and everything he did he would do with his family and friends. He was a boat captain for HilCorp and loved his job and working with his coworkers. Jody had the biggest smile and always greeted you with a strong handshake. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him; but never forgotten. ======================
