Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2015/f1511.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Yvonne Pontiff Bonvillain, 89, a native of Donner and resident of Houma, passed away at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015. She is to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. She is survived by her son, Dean M. Bonvillain and wife Beverly Ann; grandchildren, Paula Ann Murley (companion, Marcelo Flores), Bobby Jo Murley (Sabrina), Kelly R. Jones (Adam), Kerry R. Lepine; great-grandchildren, Scarette N. Murley, Michael Angelo Flores, Kailey M. Lepine, Gage Jones, Liam Murley, and Charlie Murley; sister, Betty P. LeBlanc; sister-in-law, Beulah L. Pontiff; several nieces and nephews from both Pontiff and Bonvillain families; and her "baby" Brieanna, our markie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Joseph (E.J.) Bonvillain; parents, Clinton J. Pontiff and Lelia Guillot Pontiff; sisters, Gladys P. Pollet (Lionel), Doris P. Smith (Ray); brothers, Irvin and Evest (Odethel) Pontiff; and great-grandchild, Anthony Flores. She worked during WWII at the Thibodaux Shell Plant and Southdown Sugars as a lab chemist for 23 years; Godchaux's Clothing Store at the mall; and as a cook/baker at St. Bernadette School for 13 years. She liked traveling, camping, dancing, seafood boils with friends, reading, The Young and the Restless and game shows. She was a member of Catholic Daughters, Bayou Blue Senior Citizens, Eucharistic Minister, and Pokeno clubs. She and Eugene would travel to Cypress Bayou and other casinos for food and fun on the bus trips. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Jules Dupont and his staff; Dr. Ladd and his staff at C.I.S.; Maison De Ville Nursing Home; Terrebonne General Medical Center Emergency; C.C.U. and the fourth floor nursing staff; Acadian Ambulance Services; and Hospice of South Louisiana for all their care of Yvonne during her illness. ======================
