Mary Jane "Janie" Boudreaux Cook, 83, a native of Lockport and a resident of 
Houma, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 9am to 11am at Holy Rosary 
Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 11am at Holy 
Rosary Church.

Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Survived by
Husband of 64 years- Joel Cook, Sr.
Children- Kathleen Doucet, Patricia Rhodes and husband Benny, Jeffrey Cook and 
wife Audra, Joel Cook, Jr. and wife Carrie, Amy Moore and husband Timmy, Dale 
Cook and wife Mary, and Andrew Cook and wife Ann
One Sister- Annie Rose Pennison
Grandchildren- 18
Great Grandchildren- 19

Preceded in death by
Parents- Blaize and Alice Boudreaux
Children- Bruce Cook and Michael Cook
Siblings- Oville Boudreaux, Clarence Boudreaux, Dora Mae Griffin, Jimmy 
Boudreaux, Roland Boudreaux, Johnny Boudreaux

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Janie was a 
member of the Annunziata Church, Homemakers Club, and Ladies Alter Society. She 
was loved by many and will be sadly missed by family, friends, and neighbors.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all the wonderful sitters who 
have taken care of mom during her long battle with Parkinson.
