Joseph Gerard Fakier, age 63, passed away at home on Friday, November 6, 2015 
at 8:41 am. 
He was a resident and native of Thibodaux, Louisiana.

He is survived by his loving wife Janelle L. Fakier, his son Brian Fakier, 
daughters Andree Fakier Cortez and husband Lee, Michelle Fakier Keife and 
husband Jonathan, Kathryn Fakier. Brother Christopher Fakier, sisters Mary 
Catherine Hornung, Mary Barbara Rodriquez, Anne Brann, Mary Elizabeth Aysen, 
and Jane Becnel and six grandchildren, Emily, Luke and Matthew Cortez, Jeffery 
and Justin Keife, Beau Joseph Fakier. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Theophile Fakier and Barbara Fakier 
Harrison.

Special thanks to the Thibodaux Regional Cancer Center Doctors, Nurses and 
Staff and all those whose thoughts and prayers were with us.
