Verda Marie Landry, 75, a native of Montegut and resident of Schriever, died 
Monday, Nov. 23, 2015 at 8:54 a.m. 

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until funeral time on Friday, Nov. 27 at 
St. Bridget Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3 p.m. on 
Friday at the Church, 

with burial in St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery. 

She is survived by her son, Toby Landry and wife, Terri of Katy, Texas; 
daughters, Alexis Guidry and husband, Steven of Houma, Tammy Landry of 
Bellavista, AR, Rachel Landry Sobert and husband, Troy of Miramar Beach, FL, 
and Jill Pere' and husband, Reed of Schriever; grandchildren, Grant Boughammer, 
Adam Guidry, Corey Frierson, Julia Landry, Sarah Guidry, Aaron Frierson, Seth 
Landry, Simonne Guidry, Hunter, Bailey and Riley Pere', Bridget, Cody, and Kyle 
Peyres; great-grandchildren, Alexander and Cooper Frierson, Cason and Beau 
Guidry; brothers, Eugene (Mary), Darel (Rose), Leroy (Evelyn), Harold (Vickie), 
Steve (Connie), Charles (Lena), and Leroy Jr.(Robin) Billiot; sisters, Jenerie 
Prochaska, Daisy Culbertson, and Elsie (Claude) Billiot. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Nicholas Landry; parents, 
Jackson and Linda Galley Billiot; grand daughter, Alexandra Blaisdell; great-
grand daughter, Abigail Frierson; brother, Aubry Billiot. 

She was a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church. 

Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
