Lawrence "LJ" Latour Sr., 85, a native of Schriever and a resident of 
Thibodaux, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at St. 
Bridget Catholic Church in Schriever. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will 
be at 10 a.m. at the church 

with burial in St. Bridget Catholic Church cemetery in Schriever. 

He is survived by his wife Louise Latour; children Julia Haselden and husband 
Tony, Peggy Martin and husband Kenneth, Lanny Latour and wife Claire; 
grandchildren Casey Haselden Lloyd, Emily Martin Dennis, Lacey Latour Fangue, 
Alex Latour and numerous great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Murphy and Mamie Vinet Latour. 

A special thanks to the nurses and staff of St. Joseph Hospice for the care 
that was given. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
